Reality: Listen to the colour of your dream
It’s been two years, if you believe it, since everything was normal. We know that because the hottest buzz phrase now is new normal. But think about it, for four years we were told no news is real news and most news is fake news, elections weren’t elections if your candidate wasn’t elected, even the biggest social network in the world changed its name to embrace the Metaverse, and the pandemic wasn’t real while millions were dying.
It doesn’t sound real, does it?
And that’s the point of our latest prompt: Reality.
Turn off your mind, relax and float downstream (with apologies to Lennon & McCartney), is this reality? Or, more pertinently, what does reality mean to you?
Turn your poetic minds and flash prose sensibilities to what’s going on around you. How do you perceive your reality, how does it impact you and your world? What does it mean?
