She woke in a darkened room with only moonlight streaming in from a window, high up. It was deadly quiet. And cold. Jasmine had no idea where she was, how she had gotten there, or what day it was. She had no memory of anything before that moment. It was only terror she felt.

She sat up and saw she was wearing a white satin dressing gown she had never seen before. At the foot of the bed was a fur trimmed robe that matched the gown someone had put her…
