it’s when you miss the misery

the misgivings

the mishearings

the mistakes

metal swings with peeling paint

lukewarm tea in a glass that breaks

the funeral of a teenager from your estate

a dog who followed you home and stayed

a phone booth you called a friend from

first ever I don’t love you anymore

“Gallia est omnis divisa in partes tres”

I never loved you anyway

the misfits and the missiles
