The Bumbleless Bee

Oh what joy it is to be,
a very humble bumble bee.
It’s plain to see that a bee I be,
but it is much less clear to me,
why being a bumble should fill me with glee,
(but I think I will just let it be).

The Rhinoceros

It was the hand of the Lord,
but he must have been bored,
on the day he created the Rhino.
When asked why,
he just gave a sigh,
and answered, “I’ll be damned if I know.”

‘cos there’s nothing infra-dig,
in wearing a wig.

The Ex-patriot's Lament

Once the expat knew his place,
as a member of the master race.
The natives would bow and grovel,
and never complain about their hovel.
But now the locals run the show,
and they have no problem letting you know,
that you are the “bloody foreigner” now.
