Oh Guru

Oh Guru,
burning bright,
dispelling darkness from the light,
what have you done
with the night?

For without it,
we would not have sight,
or be able to delight
in the contrast
that is vision.

Their union,
is like fusion…
…two in one.

Without the other,
we are undone,
alone,
like a candle
sputtering out in the dark.
