Outraged

Ice cream in forty-two flavors
Nothing is ever good enough
In this crapsack reality shitshow
Where ndsᴉpǝ poʍu has become
Right side up and we’re None the Wiser

Pedophiles roam the streets.
Is my gun loaded?
Who can I shoot today?

Maybe the Death Star had it right.
A billion voices screaming out
Not in pain
But in liberation.

I’m fed up with outrage
and sick of the echo (chamber)
Join me in this refrain:
Cancel recess.
Cancel jogging.
Cancel waffle fries.
Cancel cancel culture.

Dear Post Office,
Deliver me from politicians
Social media
and TV talking heads
The professional liars
Scumbags, sociopaths,
and the severely inbred
End all the toxicity
Spewing from everyone’s pores
Send the racists packing
Line the fascists up against the wall
Mow them down with language
Words have never broken bones

Conspiracies are the New Truth
The Rage is here to stay
Unless we learn to think
and know when to walk away.
