Sepia toned image of women with hand touching curtain, the image of her seen only shadow-like through the material.

I struggle
with the thought
of you

Alone
and troubled
when day is through

A prayer for peace
an anguished mind

searching

hoping

for a sign

For memories
to right the pain

you cry

yourself to sleep

again
