Sinead hid from the gunman behind a lush jasmine bush.
She hoped her Irish locks wouldn’t give her away.
He walked towards her and lifted his rifle.
She ducked, deafened by the deadly sound.
Autumn strands melded with fallen leaves.
For a moment, staggering silence.
He hit the ground.
Sinead looked up.
Her heroes.
SWAT.
