He stared at Stephanie in her beautiful white wedding dress and was amazed how she seemed to become more beautiful each and every day he had known her.

He always dreamed of the day they would walk down the aisle and start their life together. He couldn't help but smile as he heard the vows read. He was nervous but listened intently as the minister spoke and he almost inaudibly repeated the vows:

I, John take you, Stephanie, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better–for worse, for richer–for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God’s holy ordinance; and thereto I pledge you my faith.

When It came Stephanie's turn for her vows, his knees became weak, he was overwhelmed by the pureness of the love he felt for the woman he beheld:

I, Stephanie, take you, John, to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better–for worse, for richer–for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God’s holy ordinance; and thereto I pledge you my faith.

He had waited for this day for so long! His love for Stephanie was indescribable, his desire to be her husband was something that he had dreamed about since they were young teenagers in love.

As the minister gave instructions to kiss the bride, he thought about how joyous this moment should be and he was overwhelmed by a deep sadness.

This was supposed to be his dream wedding, but as Brad watched John kiss his bride, the love of his life, he realized he was actually watching his worst nightmare!
