The Moon saw itself in The Mirror

Lunar Eclipse
Part Five, Moon Series

Penumbral Moon,
alight with sun rays,
refracted from the edge,
its dark, solitary pitch,
observed itself in the mirror,
wondered why,
though it shone,
even glowed,
its sanguine pallor
reflects bellicose humour
and she smiles,
as her anxieties are distracted,
and then there’s Looney Tunes,
for just one in a few,
the earth is her Moon.
