That gives till there’s nothing left
That someone making constant deposits
But only getting withdrawals
You are the helper, enabler, assistant
So many titles for one job description
Cause the bottom line is
You always run the errand
We aren’t always happy
Cause we need a foot rub too
A day off with sundaes and coolades
And a change in job description
We aren’t always happy
But we are blessed
For giving is a grace
A gift that makes us special
So although I wouldn’t always be happy
