You pulled up unexpectedly
In that yellow convertible,
The reflection off the side mirror
Blinded me,
As I dared a sideward glance;
Then the whole world stopped
You had me in a trance
Blinding me again
With your beauty and grace,
The light flashed green
You turned and smiled;
Everything was flawless,
At that moment-
The universe coming to a halt,
To freeze a frame
Perfect, without any faults or blame…
Then you turned and sped away,
Golden hair flowing,
Dancing in the wind
Mesmerizing my mind,
Leaving behind
A part of you in my mind,
In that time and place
Forever a memory I can’t erase…
