UNREQUITED WORDS PRESENTS
A Word or Two on Words.
A few words on words
A wise man was once advising his loquacious friend.
Said He,
“It can transform a good man into a bad one and a bad man into a good one.
It can make you laugh out loud or cry out your heart.
It can cause tears of ultimate joy or those of the deepest sorrow.
It cannot be touched but it even touches the heart of the heartless.
It cannot be seen but it always makes its presence felt.
It can put you to a peaceful sleep or thrust you with an adrenaline rush enough to give you sleepless nights.
It is both divine and deathly.
It stirs a lot of thoughts and emotions in you and leaves you speechless.
Comforter, destroyer, motivator, demoralizer.
Look at it in all its splendour, touching all of us, primordial, yet understood by none.”
“What is it ?”, asked his friend.
“Music”, said the wise man. “ Well, and Words.”
— A Word or Two on Words.
The title “ A Word or Two on Words” is entirely fictional. Probably someday I’ll make into a real work.
“Words without thoughts never to heaven go.”
“Give every man thy ear, but few thy voice.”
— William Shakespeare.
These are the immortal words said by The Bard.
What do I feel?
“You don’t have an infinite supply of words. So use them judiciously. Make sure they don’t lack meaning.”
“Let your words have the backing of thoughts. Let your thoughts have the backing of sense.”
“Throw but a few punches, but make sure you knock’em down.”
Thanks for dropping by.
