I said I was not sure what you meant
When you sat at the bar saying,
“I am a bit of a racist”
Or, when you claimed to be at the very top
Of the Asian pyramid of racial hierarchy
Mocking American imperialism
Referencing atomic bombs
Telling me you are a master warrior
Lifting your martini like a katana
Challenging the world to battle
I questioned in confusion, “what?”
You stared upwards, arms folded, aloof,
Convicted, determined in your victory
“I am drunk.”
