When All The Seasons Visited Me

Stray remnants of autumn
Limp and Faded
Still scattered
Waiting to be gathered

The crispness of winter
Harsh and Bitter
Still chilling
Making the ears numb

The signs of spring
Sprouting
Still tender and soft
Promising hope

The wishes of summer
Warm and sunny
Still seeming distant
Making one wonder… and wait.
