(c) Alchemy in agony — reborn in affliction. (c) Murder without malice; the ego's crucifixion. (d) Wisdom edified in anguish; sagaciously sadistic. (d) Pursuit of happiness — at it's most masochistic.
(e) Embedded divinity — in the flesh of chrysalis, (e) Adversity's successor; celestial metamorphosis. (f) Suns set and shone — months of moons wax and wane, (f) Reborn in chrysalis of crucifix; growth inaugurated in pain.
(g) In a waltz of woes, contented calypsos; our mortal recital. (g) A path of peace; constant departure -and ceaseless arrival.

Jordan Peterson once said something along the lines of:” To live a life without meaning allows freedom from responsibility, the consequence of this, however, is that nothing matters. When you live life with a purpose, a goal or an aim to find purpose; the consequence of this is that everything matters. “ The journey of cultivating bliss and finding solace is embarked on from birth (cervix) . As we grow it is very easy to get consumed by our human realm which distorts our desire to become whole as beings. This is the first of several sonnets written based on this journey. This touches on the importance of pain in everyone’s journey. Pain and adversity are omnipresent in our human existence. We may all suffer it but rarely do we truly try to understand it and grow from it. I hope this sparks a thought in your mind or a conversation with a fellow being as this topic rarely receives the attention that it deserves. I hope you gained some value from reading this.
