Is my blindness a singularity
are clouds those odd grey spots in the sky
squirrels gnawing at the past
where do you begin to define otherness
perhaps where the walls and I become one
if there were a flower here could I smell it
do I have to close my eyes to do it
to think the wall boundless and unknowable
can we dream eyes open or in the total dark
does it make any difference
are we ever fully awake
like isolation have we truly begun to explore
I would like to know more…
