A poem about family

They say home is where the heart is,
but I leave a little piece of my heart
in every place I go;
in the places I’ve lived in,
in the places I’ve known,
in the places whose people I’ve loved.
So I asked myself, where is my home?
And all the pieces of my heart,
that I’ve left in all the places I’ve been to,
came together as one,
and they all went back to you.
