Intermittent strokes of bright red,
on the grey canvas of life.
The daily drudgeries.
Painfully dull.
Piercing your existence,
with needle pricks.
Desperate attempts
to tune out the noise,
and hear a little music.
The endless quest
for that patch of green,
In the midst of tall jungles of concrete.
Intermittent strokes of bright red,
too few and too far in between.
On the dull grey canvas of life.
