If love was as easy as they say,
Lonely people wouldn’t be so lonely,
They’d all have somebody,
To take away their loneliness

If love was as easy as they say,
Nobody would ever care,
Because love wouldn’t be a sacred thing,
But a common household chore

If love was as easy as they say,
All the pretty faces in the world,
Would have a love for themselves,
Their faces would never frown!

If love was as easy as they say,
You wouldn’t be reading these words,
Instead, you’d be with your love,
And nothing else would matter …
