In a quasi-perfect society
Rewrite the Editors Prompt

One becomes the talk of town
sans a chameleonic charming front
so they morph,
their traits alike the mobs
in a quasi-perfect society.
Appeasing the group, they fit in
it’s the way of life, they swear in
but they forget
their inner-self being immolate
in a quasi-perfect society.
The young girl took the path,
one they claimed to bring wrath
she refuted
the beliefs they instituted
in a quasi-perfect society.
The young girl remained unfazed
by all those fixated gapes,
she thrives,
while quenching her heart’s drives
in a quasi-perfect society.
