Silence is no longer empty
but full of your sighs
with such tiny limbs you’ve stolen
all of me

As though life had ceased to be before
your screams
your laughs
your smiles
your cries

Silence is no longer empty
with your head to my chest
with your hands circling my breast
with your eyes, full of knowledge,
staring into mine.
