Midway Measures

Short-form Companion

present me time traveled back
to dictate this poem

Okay, that was just goofing off, but seriously, I almost got a chill reading this now. Someone recommended it and I haven’t read it since I wrote it months ago, but aside from a minor detail or two, wow… wickedly accurate to near-future events.

Giving up on love
before it’s finished growing:
a midway measure.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
