Muse

Oh dear muse god!
Where have you been
It’s been eons since I have
met you face to face
Since I have written a joyful account
of despair and doom
or of pity and piety
abolishing the walls of the interiors
of my basic brain.

It’s been days since the contents of
my mind have been emptied
into the solace of words
into the abyss of literature
into the vast, vast valley of nothingness.
Oh my dear muse!
This great lull needs to evaporate
Come to me sweet thing
for I miss you my dear musing!

Our love was never forbidden
but you behave unattached
in the world full of ideas
I found joy only with you
I think you are my god
Oh dear muse!
Now stagnation is my beloved
I need you to progress, my muse.
I will always wait for you.

This poem is beautiful
because it is the love child
of the both of us
A sweet, sweet remainder
of what was between us
Now I truly detached from the task of writing
for without you, I am nothing
My muse, oh muse
I love you oh so much!
