No More Doubting

Although the world
has given up on me,
closed the door
and locked the key,
I will doubt me no more.

They may feel
my skin and hair eliminates me,
makes me invisible
for all to see.
Yet, I’m alive to my core.

They may have
painted me in the corner,
expecting me to give in,
and become a mourner,
but I refuse their disorder.
And will continue to soar.
