Life would never be the same,
Once you realize —
You are the only one sane,
Enough to care about your life.

People talk to you,
Yes, they talk to you,
But that’s when they want to,
If you were a mannequin, they’d still talk, talk, talk

See, nobody cares for you
Like you care for everyone,
Nobody cares for your soul,
Nobody can lend you free love!

The world is a giant boat,
With 7+ billion people in it,
Yet when you need help,
Nobody makes a fit

So when you’re on the country road,
Carrying all that heavy load,
Pick up strength as you go along,
Write your own happy song

Try to care for people you meet,
Try to make everyone feel sweet,
Yet when you feel like you need someone,
Expect no one, no one, no one …
