A Poem

You keep putting colour to my head
saying it’s my mind
but I’m cursing and spitting
threats
because No One will give me any green
I don’t want to identify
as your brand of madness
I reel and the scope of discourse
shudders as it changes slightly
switching direction midflight
You keep telling me it’s all alright
but I’m sure
that hasn’t happened yet
Whatever you say about my moving
corner
however you get that pat on your back
there’s nothing left
to try to drip down your throat
or mine
