The skull of this hill is
caked with wind
Seen in the crutch of a naked
a new insult\ was born
& laid in the crematorium
Several markers
have worked their way into
these translations: if we are only
getting away from the dogma
of a glance
then we’ve gotten a half-step or two
To reorient the eye
the full assessment of what the nose
is pointing at
becomes essential
Victims design cathedrals
& gods
set the targets
