Slow-dance

I turned to peer into the Darkness
And was struck with blindness.
Afraid, I turned to glare at the Light,
Only to be returned to sightlessness.

I wanted to see the Truth,
To gaze upon miraculous Thusness,
To be free of all suffering,
And bask in unwavering love.

Little did I know
All I had to do
Was turn away from Light and Darkness
And watch them slow-dance.
