The storms have returned
Again basking the horizon
In black, foaming clouds

I’m reminded again of the sea
Crashing gray morning waves
Calming as they reach shores

I still wait for mine to reach
My sandy beaches

I still wait for my storms to break
Unchaining the sun

But I remember —
Gardens need rain

The storms have returned
I’ll wait them out again

Cold rains feeding oceans
Feeding forests
Feeding flowerbeds

Feeding me
