The Pain of Perfection

I used to strive for perfection

Clear skies and sunshine.

It took rain and tears,

And muddy slips here and there,

To embrace the tricks and treats

Life had to offer.

The beauty of journey
Lies in the mastery
I learnt, from all the
trials and tribulations

I had to experience
My rose filters faded
And I bloomed
In a shrine of wisdom

When I started to seek beauty
In imperfections
The cracks
and the lessons that carried with it.
