Look at this rose I’m holding.
Do you see it as an Instance of God?
No, you reply.
So let me turn it around, just a little.
Now do you see it as God?
Yes! I do.
The rose hasn’t changed, only your perception of it, as a result of my re-orienting it to you — of re-orienting you to it.
Everything, everyone, is such an Instance.
It is the ultimate task of the photographer as healer to so orient the viewer that every vision is Epiphanic.
