Write
When there is something to write about
Or when there isn’t.

When you‘re low, when high
About the truth, about a lie
A fresh start, a stale good bye
Till you live, till you die
Write.

Write
As there is something to write about
Even when there isn’t.

Make the effort, make it rhyme
Put some thought, make the time
Of your sins, of your crime
Of when you killed her for a dime
Write.

Write
Because there is something to write about
Especially when there isn’t.

For yourself, for the world
To be understood, to be heard
Of the fate that she deserved
In cold blood, unperturbed
Write.

Write
You know there is something to write about
You’re just lying that there isn’t.

Her version, or your story
Ironic and dark, or vengeful, gory
Suppressed emotions, life’s theory
Of her motionless body, in all its glory
Write.

Write
You know exactly what there is to write about
Just write the damn thing down.

Of your savagery, speculation is rife
Her slender neck against your blunt knife
Of your meaningless, petty, everyday strife
Of how she died, in the name of your life
Write

Just write.
