Resurrection and New Beginnings
Christians remember Christ, his crucifixion, death and resurrection on Easter Sunday. Easter is more important than Christmas, but it is not celebrated with as much pomp and festivity. However, the Lenten period and the Easter Sunday mass is a week-long period during which the teachings of Christ, the moment of Christ’s agony and death on the cross are once again experienced by Christians worldwide.
The resurrection is a vital moment in the Christian faith, as it shows us that Christ defeated death for all time, and it gives everyone hope that they will rise again to a new life.
There are those who believe and those who do not believe. Some believe and accept the resurrection of Christ as the truth, while others do not care or believe. Ultimately, it is up to every individual to decide their life path, their faith and their destiny in life. All roads lead to Rome, just as all humanity were created for this Earth and will one day return to their Creator.
