The curves in her silhouette; the perky rounds

‘what are you staring at? Her face is up there’; does she need a T-shirt with this message printed on

won’t you be then lost in the message and make rounds around the blooms

your mummy bought you toys when you were a child; some she couldn’t afford so you window shopped instead

A woman’s body is not a mannequin on display; dressed up for your window shop fantasies; watch your thoughts and lower your gaze; her body is only hers— to decorate as she pleases

Draping up the velvet shawl on her hooters; you still are drooling like a puppy dog; go fetch the stick; they are plenty of pussy cats in the field

Google is your dirt goggles; you ogle at the globes, hiding behind a screen

It’s a woman’s body you’re disrespecting; permission denied; go find yourself a healthy hobby, this addiction will only drive you crazy

lower your gaze and block that porn; you’re trapped in a cycle of fantasies and unreal expectations

so lower your gaze boy and wait patiently — wait for the one — the one who will be only yours

this fantasy you’re living in is just that, someone’s imagination on film; a trillion-dollar industry, feeding on your desires

avoid the temptation — fast, work, volunteer — do anything to distract your mind; the pull is strong and it’s an all-time high

you’ve to fight this; the struggle is all yours; the effort only yours — be strong, you got this

for a woman’s body is not a temple; you cannot visit as you please; she has boundaries; you’re unwelcome

so please guard your modesty

let her feel comfortable in her skin; not hide, not display, just be her true self, for she needs to please no one

a woman needs to understand true beauty is in modesty

have you seen how the fruit flies rummage around the sweet sweet summer fruits; slurps the ice lollies and snacks on fruit chaats on the streets

missy don’t let any unwelcome fruit fly near you; protect yourself and guard your modesty

vultures will be vultures; no matter how much you drape they’ll find a way to creep you; don’t worry

you’re made of the finest dove feather; no vulture can snatch your sheen; you’re a beautiful masterpiece; open your wings and be the confident you; the coward vultures will fly away

be the gorgeous You; smile and shrug the bygones; welcome a new bright sun

you’re a miracle; a woman, with so many names— a mother, a daughter, a sister, a wife — you carry all the roles so diligently on your delicate shoulders

you’re more than a pair of oranges; you’re an admirable painting; a fountain of love; you’re a woman — a woman of dignity and respect
