Ten thousand flowers in spring, the moon in autumn,a cool breeze in summer, snow in winter, and if your mind isn’t clouded by unneccessary things, this is the best season of your life — Wu Men Hui Kai

To hundred chosen cascade
of emotions,
Spreading like slow opening
of a peacock tail,
Her body swayed to the rhythm —
And she danced.

Drinking from the shimmery
fountain of light,
Clinching music from the lost
stars hoovering in the nocturnal
plight,
Grooving to the tempo of the
alluring open wild —
She danced.

At
This moment ,absent of
pain and sorrow,
The golden earth spreading
joy like there’s no ‘morrow,
The world opiated with
dreams, her eyes can borrow,
Her nimble feet awakening the
dew-tipped grass to a
fragrance mellow,

She opened her soul
To earth’s bowl
Thoughts taping to the beat
of the bold —
She danced.

Boulders on the verge
play da-dum to the
distant sky,
Surf lashing in synchrony
with the girl in white,
Twirling heart sniff
freedom from sore
plights,
Silence singing, swaying
to the gurgling noise of
the mind —
And she danced.

Lingering moments of
passion, found engraved
on the shores of time,
The brook babbling
to reach home
shifting paradigm,
For curves and bends
of life conquered
the quivering air chimed,
In the maze of her tresses
her world entwined —

The time has come,
It is the time,
Pirouetting red throw in
the dime,
To the gentle, to the fire
To wails of desire,
To the lilting harmony of
the melodious hour,

She danced,
She danced,
She danced to her time……

Thank you Nachi Keta Somsubhra Banerjee Priyanka Srivastava Elizabeth Khan and Literary Impulse, home for many like me and my musings.

This is in response to Tej and her beautiful Soul Dance. The positivity and lightness the frame exuded gives a nudge to any poetic mind and the use of white with a subtle touch of red makes the canvas vivacious and pristine.Thank you!

Thank you for stopping by my backyard to engage and inspire. You are always appreciated.
