Into the well

A poem about grief

Why do you hold your tears?
They certainly do not disappear

Someone
Somewhere
Is crying those tears for you

Don’t you know that your soul is that important?
That each and every soul matters
So much so that each and every single tear must fall

If not from your eyes
Then from the eyes of another

We are One
After all
