The Dichotomy of the Lover
A few verses on how he is both the sides of the coin
Sometimes you seem to me the wisest of the seers,
And sometimes, the most ignorant of men.
Sometimes you are my guardian angel,
And sometimes, the devil incarnate.
Sometimes you are seething like the sun,
And sometimes, soothing like the moon.
Sometimes you feel as near to me as I am to me,
And sometimes, as distant as the stars.
Though you make what is called life to me,
You bring to me my death.
Thanks for dropping by.
