Book Title Jokes — Number 002
Shortly after Samuel Beckett died in December 1989 I decided to treat myself to a copy of the one novel of his I still hadn’t read. It would serve as a Christmas present to myself and a tribute to the recently deceased Nobel Laureate.

“I can’t find the book I’m looking for,” I said.
“Tell me what you’re looking for and I’ll see if we have it in stock.”
“Watt,” I said.
