Signal, Noise, Weather, and Whether

The fribbling multitudes clash and despair.
Whatever is right is wrong and the opposite.
The sun shines black. The dark is luminous.
Affirmation lurks within despondency.
Cobras and cassowaries only want to snuggle.
Words meet words resulting in righteous tumult.
Someone who listens to anyone is no one.
Friendship devolves into angry opposition.
Violent thunderstorms rumble the human ether.
The forecast is for more and the same.
Now is a symphony of clamor and discord.
We play by rules we pretend to understand,
but disdainfully discard to gain any advantage.
Where have the harmonies of yesterday gone?
Vanished into noise without an ear to hear.
