Lition Business and Development Update — 12/13/19
It has been a bit quiet on the communications front in the past few weeks. However, everyone from the Lition team has been incredibly busy behind the scenes. Though this year has had its share of ups and downs, we have always remained steadfast in our mission to become the leading solution for businesses and large enterprises that want to bring innovative blockchain applications to the mass-market in a legally compliant way.
As the beginning of a new year approaches, and the next chapter in the Lition journey begins, we wanted to give the community an update on where we stand in regards to business and development.
Development
Since the initial issue at the end of October, our network has recovered and shown excellent uptime performance under constrained settings. The current environment is stable and we’re still stress testing and monitoring the situation closely.
We’ve made significant advancements in regards to our consensus issue. However, it will take some more time before the bug is fully fixed and we can begin to scale the network again.
Which direction have we chosen for the fix?
We are currently directing our resources towards fixing the bug in the current IBFT consensus mechanism, however, we will also continue to do a comprehensive examination of all other available options. The blockchain technology space evolves rapidly and new information arrives each day. There are so many talented people and amazing projects constantly working to move knowledge and research forward. Therefore, we’ll continue to keep all options open to ensure we find the absolute best solution for the long term success of the project.
Business Development
With our network recovered and our consensus fix underway, we are excited to share that we will begin shifting more focus back to other areas. You can expect to see more frequent updates regarding business development, marketing, etc, as we continue to grow our ecosystem and push forward into the new year. We have many exciting surprises in store for 2020.

Despite the recent turbulence, we believe we are working towards truly remarkable technology, and supporting infrastructure, that will allow Lition to become one of the world’s leading blockchain infrastructures for business.
