A visit to a strawberry farm can be a fun and educational experience for the whole family. In South Korea, it is an interesting activity that has gained popularity in recent years. In cool climates, such as in some parts of South Korea, strawberries are often grown in the winter months using special techniques. Many farms also offer visitors the chance to pick their own strawberries straight from the field and taste fresh strawberries, as well as participating in various farm activities such as making strawberry jam or learning about the farming process.

When you arrive at the farm, you’ll typically be given a basket or container to collect your strawberries in. Be sure to follow the farm’s rules and guidelines for picking, as each farm may have slightly different instructions. In general, it’s best to choose berries that are bright red, plump, and free from blemishes or mold.

While picking strawberries, you should be careful to pick without damaging the plants. It’s also important to avoid overfilling your container because this can cause the berries on the bottom to become crushed and damaged. Once you’ve picked your strawberries, you’ll typically be able to pay for the farm owner by weight or by the container.

For children, a visit to a strawberry farm can be a memorable experience, allowing them to learn more about where their food comes from and to appreciate the hard work of farmers. It’s also a great opportunity for families to spend quality time together in a beautiful and natural setting, enjoying the fruits of their labor and creating happy memories that will last a lifetime.
