The cherry blossom is a type of tree that’s native to East Asia. In Korea, it’s called beotkkot, and it’s one of the most beloved symbols of spring. The blossoms usually bloom for only a short period of time, making it all the more special to see them in person.

One of the best places to see the cherry blossoms in Korea is Yeouido Park, located in the heart of Seoul. The park is home to over 1,400 cherry trees, and during the blooming season, the park is packed with people taking photos, having picnics, and just enjoying the beauty of the flowers. The park is also lit up at night, creating a magical atmosphere that’s perfect for a romantic stroll.

Another popular spot to see the cherry blossoms is Jinhae, a city located in the south of Korea. Jinhae is famous for its annual Cherry Blossom Festival, which takes place from late March to early April. During the festival, the streets are lined with pink flowers, and there are various events and performances throughout the city. The festival attracts millions of visitors every year, and it’s a must-see for anyone who loves cherry blossoms.

But it’s not just the big cities that have cherry blossoms. Even in smaller towns and villages, you can find beautiful cherry trees that are just as stunning. In big cities or small towns, you could easily enjoy the beautiful scenery of cherry blossom. It is common to see cherry blossom trees planted in two rows along the sides of streets. The streets are lined with trees, and when they’re in bloom, it’s like walking through a pink tunnel. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and it’s a great place to take a leisurely stroll.

So if you happen to be in Korea during the cherry blossom season, be sure to take some time to see the flowers. Whether you’re in a big city or a small town, there’s sure to be a beautiful spot where you can witness the magic of spring. And even if you can’t make it this year, there’s always next year. The cherry blossoms will be waiting for you, as they always do, to remind you of the beauty and wonder of life.
