INTRO

Hi! I’m Nalini. I’ve been writing on Medium for 6 months now. I’ve written book reviews for people who want a recommendation for the weekend, or leisure reading (Published every Thursday!) Link:

It’s been one year since I moved to Goa, and I’ve discovered many restaurants which have amazing food. So, if you ever want a place to go, or if you’re visiting Goa and want a good recommendation for a place, this is the review for you!

“I will be publishing food reviews every Friday at 4:00 pm, so look out!”

SPACIAL EXPERIENCE

Pictures:

Black Sheep Bistro had a nice space. It had a nice vibe, and good music and the service was amazing. The food reached fast, the seating was sooooo comfy! The paintings were nice and I loved the display of bottles in one room.

FOOD:

Pictures:

from L to R: Honey Sesame Pork, Virgin Blush, White Chocolate Lava Cake.

The food was amazing! I’ll list a few of my recommendations below-

Drinks

For kids, (like me!) I would definitely recommend the Virgin Blush. It’s an amazing pomegranate drink with soda and was a perfect mix of sweet & sour.

“I usually don’t like pomegranates, but this was… 😌”

RECOMMENDATIONS: Food

My favourite starter was the Honey Sesame Pork- it was spicy and delicious. The vegetables were crispy, and the pork good, but a little chewy, but not to worry about.

For people who prefer less spicy dishes, I would recommend the Prawns Plancha. It had a delicious sauce, which was buttery and smooth. Also, the Fish Tacos were delicious.

My favouritest was the Pulled Pork Burger. The bun was crunchy and soft and flaky and just sooooo good. The pork was perfectly cooked and marinated and was just altogether yummm. The Mexican fried rice with Chicken and the Peanut Crusted fish with Orange Beurre Blane was amazing.

RECOMMENDATIONS: Dessert

The desserts were amazing too! I recommend the White Chocolate Lava cake because it came with a delicious ice-cold jelly, which was in contrast to the hot inside of the cake. The Burnt Basque Cheesecake was also delicious, and soft and sweet.

In conclusion, Black Sheep Bistro was a perfect place to write my first review, amazing, delicious foods, nice people and an overall great place.
