Changing Lives One Day at a Time

An individual in his/her twenties is technically in the prime of their health and should indulge in building hobbies, traveling, exploring their spirituality and what not. But instead if there is anything we are busy doing, that is sleeping.

Now, no offense to people who love sleep (I am one of you too), but when you sit to think about what you did all year on New Year’s eve, we tend to go blank. Isn’t this the time when we are supposed to go wild, instead we are busy in our pyjamas watching Netflix.

So when are we going to go for the trek in the mountains or salsa dance classes or cake baking workshop??
When we are old, in our thirties, with the responsibility of an entire home and bunch of kids on our mind or when we are so old that walking to the next room itself tires us.

If working in a 9 to 5 job for 5 days a week tires you, then what will happen when you have ten different sorts of pain and medical issues.

When we were in college, we used to plan on doing so many things once we start earning. Where do all those plans disappear?
One thing that I have learnt in this past year is our lives are too fragile to wait another day for doing the things you always wanted to do.

So just put an alarm and wake up early to go see the sunrise and to nice breakfast places.

Join the guitar classes.

Begin your skincare routine and diet plans.

Start a diary that you always planned to write.

Do some charity and join the NGO that you were checking out.

Wear that nice dress that you saved up for and go out for dinner.

Call your old friends and plan a trip to the mountains.

Make a list of everything you want to do and do it one day at a time. And you will feel your life changing for the better. Maybe some day you can live a life without regrets and be content in it.
