The FutureSense Foundation is a charity registered in the UK that supports community development in some of the poorest regions of the world, across 10 countries and four continents (including Peru, Romania, Tanzania, India, Nepal, Thailand and Cambodia). Their charity work targets education, child welfare and livelihoods as a means to address a range of development issues.
Through their fundraising, they provide financial support for community development projects overseas, as well as providing human resources in the form of career break and gap year volunteers. Funds are distributed in a number of ways. They can be invested in large-scale projects that improve school infrastructures and community centres, or they can assist individuals more directly, through tuition fee grants and macro-business programmes.
The FutureSense Foundation supports marginalised individuals and communities through:
