Homeschool Anywhere is a free online service that connects homeschool families with each other and with organizations that offer homeschool activities. They host calendars of online and in-person events nationwide for home learners — a function that has become all the more important of late.

Opportunity

Homeschool Anywhere was created by and for homeschoolers. Founder Leanna was frustrated by the complexity of finding activities for her own homeschooled children. She found that offerings and groups were frustratingly scattered across the web. She knew she wanted to create a central hub for activities and social groups for homeschoolers, but needed help to do the complex job of building such a site.

Solution

We jumped in to support Homeschool Anywhere in its growth process, building the website’s calendar functions, supporting the existing website design, and working with their team to architect and create a section for social groups.

At the time we were brought in, things were already partially built, but their prior agency had failed to deliver on a number of promises. Our teams jumped in to do what we do best — fix what was broken, build what was missing, and ensure design and functional elements matched and integrated smoothly across the site.

Homeschoolers can now discover organized activities on the new, intuitive Homeschool Anywhere site, complete with interactive calendar elements, a personalized user portal, and online social groups.
