Your relationship with your special man has come to an end, but you want it back. Have you desperately tried everything you can do just to get your ex boyfriend back but still failed miserably? Desperation is not the answer. Don’t feel hopeless — feel hopeful, here’s a step-by-step plan to get your ex boyfriend back fast.

Step 1 — Understand Why Your Boyfriend Left

When you both initially got together, I’m sure you were very loving toward each other and your weaknesses weren’t obvious to one another. But after some time as you got comfortable, weaknesses will start to surface and your ex boyfriend would start seeing sides of you he never knew existed.

Maybe you started to take him for granted or you got a little pushy now and then. Whatever the cause, you need to determine the reason he left before you attempt to get your ex boyfriend back.

Step 2 — Fix The Problems on Your End

Once step 1 is done, you’ll have known what went wrong and now you need to find a way to prevent that from happening again to prepare for the new relationship after you get your ex boyfriend back.

At this point, it’s easy to point your finger at him and blame him for his annoying habits or lack of communication skills that were responsible for the tensions between you two, but ultimately you are responsible for your reactions to whatever he does.

So you need to learn about the best way to deal with whatever he did that irritated you or decide maybe he wasn’t the right guy for you after all.

Step 3 — Time For Your First Contact

Because you’ve already left your ex boyfriend alone for some time to let him cool down, he probably has started to miss you because of your sudden absence during this period. So it’s going to be easier to get your ex boyfriend back, and it’s time to plan your first contact.

A good and easy way to do that is to go for something fun and casual like inviting him out with some of his friends to do something the two of you used to enjoy doing together. At least he wouldn’t feel awkward with his friends around, and you’ll get the chance to interact with him.

Step 4 — Try to Make Up

You might have to do step 3 for a few times before you and your ex boyfriend become comfortable again to talk to one another. And when that happens, carefully ask him if he’d be willing to tell you what he felt went wrong in the relationship so you can learn from your mistakes and make up with him. Then, let him do the talking while you listen attentively.

Remember, even if the reasons he gave weren’t obvious to you, he had good reasons to leave. So if you’re going to get your ex boyfriend back, you’ll need to compromise. Of course, I don’t mean you should give in to all his demands, but at least hear him out before you jump in with your own opinions.

Once that is done, make it a point to come to a resolution with him and see what could best be done so that you two can make up.
