Charlie Puth + Selena Gomez’s New Breakup Song Will Give You All The Feels

Forget Drake, Charlie Puth and Selena Gomez just released the latest and greatest breakup song to cry to. Puth and Gomez teased us with a collaboration back in December and finally released it right before Valentine’s Day comes because why not.

The song is about that awful time period after a breakup where you realize that the other person has gotten over the situation and here you are still wallowing in self-pity. Puth and Gomez put that terrible pit-of-the-stomach feeling into words we can’t ever describe and made it relatable to just about every single person out there. *ha. I made a pun.* And they added a catchy beat to it so you can’t get it out of your head either, thanks for that one guys.

(one lyric: Ooh we don’t talk anymore like we used to do/ I just heard you found the one you been looking/ You been looking for/ I wish I would’ve known that wasn’t me)

*CUE ALL THE FEELS*

While Gomez has released seemingly banger and banger, Puth is kind of the new, super cool-yet-mature-and-classy-wears-a-suit kid to the music scene. He’s kind of like that kid you befriend last month in class and want to actually hang out with outside of that group project you two have together. Collaborating with Gomez was a brilliant move on his part, because I have a strong feeling this is going to be on your breakup playlist shortly and just may have you missing your ex more than Adele did…wait is that even possible?

Check it out, just prepare to get the “How’s it going?” text from your ex.
