On Being Truthful

Honesty is the best policy, but words don’t always translate into action

I was recently berated for being too blunt. My mother had asked me a simple question. “How was your day?” I did not want to talk about it.

“I don’t want to talk about it.”

“Well, you are going to face trouble in the future if you keep up with that attitude.”
